George Verghese, Director RSP India - Hyderabad, engaged in a panel discussion at the 'Zak World of Facades' event held at the Novotel Convention Centre at Hyderabad. The panel was titled the ‘Influence of Digital Tools and Modelling on Building Facades’. The panelists at the event included Ratna Kompella from Aparna Constructions and Sapan Gupta from GMR among other eminent architects from Hyderabad.
The panel of clients and designers saw eye to eye on the empowering nature of digital modelling and 3D visualizations. They observed that digital processes have made the process of collaboration between clients and stakeholders possible and that a new collaborative effort makes way for shared accountability among all stakeholders. The panelists agreed that the future of digital tools in construction promises paving the way for more innovative, efficient, and sustainable building facades.
“The advanced software enhances the design process and ensures that the facades meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while aligning with sustainability goals”, George observed.
The 170th world edition of the event, held on February 14th, 2025, featured over 15 presentations by various speakers and focused on sustainable innovations and technological solutions for the building envelope.
